Durock POM Switches (aka Durock Piano Switches) feature a full POM housing with a stem comprised of a mystery material and a long pole. These premium switches are incredibly smooth and have an extremely crisp bottom out sound.

The long stem pole allows for each bottom out to contact directly against the center of bottom housing. This results in a clear, crisp sound that resonates against your keyboard. Normal-length stem poles usually do not contact the bottom housing at all, since the rest of the stem reaches the bottom first.
These switches are pretty darn smooth in their stock form, but we still prefer lubing and filming them. We found using Krytox 205g0, or a lube of similar viscosity, to provide the best feel and sound.
